The early Best Buy Black Friday sale has slashed the prices of various Apple devices, but you'll need to be a My Best Buy Plus or My Best Buy Total member to shop some of the best offers - including some of these killer discounts we've found below, including $100 off the AirPods Max, and hefty savings on the iPad and 15-inch MacBook Air. Hopefully this means Paramount is waiting until Black Friday to release another promotion. The Essential version of the plan is so cheap that Paramount mostly relies on the free trial to suck people in. Paramount+ deals aren't particularly rare, but we haven't seen any major ones recently. This discount has not been confirmed by Paramount. If this pattern holds true, and Paramount+ gets the same discount during Black Friday 2023, the Essential plan will drop to $30 for a year and the Showtime plan will drop to $60. The whole service was a bit cheaper in general last year, so this came out to $25 per year for the Essential plan and $100 for the Premium. Will there be a Paramount Plus Black Friday deal?ĭuring Black Friday 2022, Paramount discounted the Essential plan by 50%. What are the chances that we see a Paramount+ Black Friday discount this year? Let's look at what happened last year to get an idea of what we can expect in 2023. There are two tiers right now: Essential, for $6 per month, and the Showtime tier, for $12 per month. Recently, Paramount+ merged with Showtime, so the service now has access to all of Showtime's content too (for a bit bigger fee). It primarily features Paramount movies and CBS TV shows. Paramount+ is a relatively new streaming site, one of the many that popped up once movie studios realized they could be their own distributers in the age of streaming. During a live demo, we also saw versions in Mojito green and Lemonade yellow we don’t yet know when or if those colors will see the light of day. Both speakers will launch with four colorways in the U.S.: Graphite, Blizzard, Merlot, and Blue Steel. The speakers will officially release on October 26, with a retail price of $230 for the Blast and $300 for the Megablast. The Blast’s battery is rated at 12 hours, while the Megablast should last for 16. According to Ultimate Ears, the Megablast will be 40 percent louder than the Megaboom, which was already quite powerful.īoth speakers are IP67 rated for dust and water resistance, meaning they’ll happily and safely accompany you in the shower (though, unlike the Wonderboom, they won’t float). The Megablast is UE’s first wireless speaker featuring independent tweeters (two, at 25mm) along with 35mm active drivers and passive radiators to boot. The Blast and Megablast - comparable in size to the Boom 2 and the Megaboom, respectively - feature the same cylindrical shape as their brethren, only with sharper edges and a slightly more contemporary aesthetic overall. I love the Wonderboom 2.The Megablast will be 40 percent louder than the Megaboom, which was already quite powerful. Considering you can find it for $60-$70, it’s a no brainer. Don’t care.Įither one will be fantastic, but I prefer Wonderboom 2 not only for its sound, but its form factor as well. The Boom 3 has more features, as in, it works with the UE app and can be turned on and off from the phone, or paired with multiple other Booms. To be clear, this is the complete opposite of what I expected. Its frequency response seems to reach deeper into the bass than the Boom 3’s, and songs just sound a bit richer on the Wonderboom 2 without being muddied by bass or requiring an equalizer. The Boom 3 is louder, but I actually prefer the Wonderboom 2’s sound to the Boom 3’s. Couldn’t decide which, found a sale, and realized I have multiple places where I could use them, so now I have both. I replaced it with a Wonderboom 2 and a Boom 3. I then got a Wonderboom for just $50 on eBay, enjoyed it for a year, and blew it out. I caught the UE bug when a bike friend had a Boom 2 and I was astounded how good it sounded.
